Job Title: Homeroom Teacher (FS3/Year 3 Primary Teacher – British Curriculum– Native English Speaker)
Location: Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Employment Type: Full-Time
Start Date: August 2026 | Immediate Joiners
Nationality Preference: UK, Ireland, South Africa, or other Western native English-speaking countries/Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs)
Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 7:15 AM – 3:15 PM
About the Role
We are hiring a qualified and enthusiastic FS3/ Year 3 Primary Teacher – British Curriculum for one of our esteemed international level well-established British Curriculum school in Al Ain, UAE. The successful candidate will inspire students, promote academic excellence, and contribute positively to the wider school community.
The FS3 Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development in line with the FS3/ Year 3 Primary Teacher – British Curriculum The successful candidate will foster a positive classroom environment where children are encouraged to become confident, independent, and lifelong learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Year 3 lessons.
- Differentiate learning to meet student needs.
- Monitor progress and prepare assessments.
- Maintain excellent classroom management.
- Work collaboratively with parents and colleagues.
- Support students' academic and personal development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children.
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the FS3 British curriculum.
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Foster strong communication and partnerships with parents and the school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality FS3 lessons in accordance with the British Curriculum.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
- Support children's academic, emotional, social, physical, and creative development.
- Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress, maintaining accurate learning records.
- Differentiate learning activities to meet individual developmental needs.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, communication, and independent thinking.
- Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies.
- Participate in school events, meetings, parent consultations, and professional development activities.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, child protection, health, and safety policies.

Preferred Candidates

- Other native English speakers with British Curriculum experience
Qualifications
- B.Ed. or Bachelor's Degree with PGCE/PGDE
Experience
- Minimum 2 years teaching the British Curriculum preferred.
- UAE experience not essential.
- (QTS) teaching licence or Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent (Mandatory).
- Male and female candidates welcome.
- Preferred age up to late 40s.
Benefits
Salary Package:
- Gross Monthly Salary: AED 11,000 – AED 13,000
- Salary includes:
- Basic Salary: AED 6,000
- Housing Allowance: AED 2,917
- Transportation Allowance: AED 500
