Client Details

My client is an ambitious, high-growth FMCG business with exciting plans for the future. As demand for their brands continues to grow, we're looking for a commercially driven National Account Manager to lead and develop our presence within the HORECA channel.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced account manager who thrives on building strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering sustainable sales growth in the foodservice market.

Description

You'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, increasing market penetration, and ensuring our brands are the preferred choice across hospitality, catering, and foodservice customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the national account strategy for the HORECA channel.
  • Manage and grow relationships with national foodservice customers
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across hospitality, catering, leisure, travel, and contract catering sectors.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, promotional activity, and annual trading agreements.
  • Build joint business plans that deliver sustainable growth for both customers and the business.
  • Analyse market trends, customer performance, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure outstanding customer delivery.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and account plans.
  • Monitor account profitability and deliver against sales, volume, and margin targets.
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

A successful HORECA National Account Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in HORECA/Foodservice Sector
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • A track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A good understanding of the HORECA sector and its dynamics.
  • Proficiency in analysing data and preparing reports.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
