Role Description

The Horticulturist role is a full-time, on-site position based in London. This role involves planning, implementing, and maintaining gardens and landscaped areas, including:

The Horticulturist will monitor plant health, manage irrigation systems, and ensure that outdoor spaces are kept clean, safe, and visually appealing. The role may also involve coordinating with clients or supervisors on project requirements, schedules, and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong practical skills in Gardening and Maintenance, with experience caring for a variety of plants and outdoor spaces.
  • Solid understanding of Botany, including plant identification, growth requirements, and plant health management.
  • Hands-on experience with Irrigation systems, including installation, monitoring, and adjusting watering schedules.
  • Knowledge of Landscaping principles, including design basics, plant selection, and site preparation.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and extended walking.
  • Attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to follow safety procedures and company standards.
  • Relevant horticulture or landscaping certification, diploma, or equivalent experience is beneficial.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
  • A full UK driving licence.
