About the Role
This role will support and expand our NPWT and wound care influence across:
- Leicester, Rutland, Northamptonshire*
- Hampshire*
- Thames Valley*
Based ideally around: Watford, Reading, Oxford.
Responsibilities
As our Hospital Complex Wound Specialist, you’ll:
- Provide trusted clinical guidance on NPWT and advanced wound management to frontline teams
- Deliver bespoke NPWT training programmes, ensuring stakeholder adoption aligned with Smith+Nephew’s PICO & Renasys systems
- Offer hands-on clinical education across acute and command settings, shaping best practice for patient care
- Advise Tissue Viability Nurses, Theatre Teams, and decision-makers to drive efficiency
- Collaborate with our sales teams on audits, clinical pathways, and adoption strategies

Requirements
You’ll succeed in this role if you:
- Are a Registered General Nurse (or allied medical professional) with expert wound care experience (specialised in NPWT)
- Have strong NHS pathway knowledge to influence clinical decision-making
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Are comfortable with travel across your territory while engaging diverse stakeholder groups
