Hospital Complex Wound Specialist – Surgical Intervention & NPWT

Join us as a Hospital Complex Wound Specialist! This is your chance to utilise your extensive NPWT & Wound Management clinical expertise to support healthcare professionals deliver better outcomes for patients while driving adoption of innovative solutions that change lives.


Location Coverage

This role covers the Leicester, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Hampshire and Thames Valley areas. Therefore, you would ideally be based in or around the Watford, Reading, Oxford region.


What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the trusted clinical expert that clinicians turn to for guidance on NPWT and advanced wound management.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Work across acute settings, providing hands-on clinical support and education that makes a real difference to patient care.
  • Design and deliver high-quality NPWT (Negative Pressure Wound Therapy) training programmes.
  • Support complex wound cases and demonstrate the clinical benefits of our innovative PICO and Renasys systems.
  • Collaborate with territory managers and account teams to implement strategic projects.
  • Influence key decision-makers and lead initiatives that improve clinical outcomes and efficiency across your territory.

Daily tasks include:

  • Advising Tissue Viability Nurses and Theatre teams
  • Partnering on audits and clinical pathways
  • Shaping best practice in wound management

What You’ll Need

Success in this role means being both a trusted NPWT and Advanced Wound Management clinical advisor and a confident, collaborative partner with your local commercial sales team.

You’ll thrive if you:

  • Are a Registered General Nurse or from a medicine-related allied profession, with a strong clinical aptitude and a passion for improving patient care.
  • Have experience in wound care—preferably with a focus on NPWT—and a solid understanding of NHS pathways and clinical decision-making.
  • Display excellent communication and organisational skills to deliver impactful training, manage priorities and build strong relationships.
  • Are comfortable with extensive travel across your territory, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to drive the adoption of advanced therapies.
