Hospital Complex Wound Specialist

Hospital Complex Wound Specialist – Life. Unlimited. at Smith+Nephew

About the Role

Life. Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that removes limits from living.

We’re championing the future of Surgical Intervention and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT), and now we’re offering you the chance to be part of something transformative. Join our team as a Hospital Complex Wound Specialist—a role where your clinical expertise in NPWT and Advanced Wound Management directly supports healthcare professionals to deliver better outcomes for patients while advancing new solutions that save lives.

Location Coverage

What You’ll Be Doing

We’re looking for the go-to clinical expert—someone clinicians turn to for proven guidance on NPWT and complex wound management. In this dynamic role:

  • Hands-on clinical support – Deliver high-quality NPWT training, evidence-based respiratory care, and patient management across acute and community settings.
  • Advanced training delivery – Design and lead workshops improving skills in Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT).
  • Med-Tech collaboration – Showcase the clinical benefits of our Pico and Renasys systems through engaging demonstrations.
  • Strategic influence – Partner with territory managers and sales teams to drive adoption of innovative wound care solutions.
  • Clinical leadership – Guide audits, research, and clinical pathways that establish best practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
