Hospital Executive (Entry-Level) – Medical Sales Role

Company Information

Clinisupplies is a leading UK-based manufacturer and supplier of medical appliances, specialising in continence products for managing acute and chronic conditions. The company also provides a portfolio of bandages and garments for wound and chronic skin treatment.

With over 500 employees across the UK, China, and India, Clinisupplies supplies products to the NHS and operates Clinidirect, its dispensing appliance contractor, delivering direct to patients’ homes.

The company develops simple, discreet, and clinically-effective products through collaboration with clinicians and patients. Manufacturing is conducted in CE, ISO, and US FDA-approved facilities.


Role Summary

We are seeking a Hospital Executive to join our sales team, helping implement discharge policies for Nightingale Home Delivery Service registrations. This entry-level role, ideal for a medical sales career starter, involves:

  • Supporting NHS Trusts in safe, effective patient transitions from acute settings to community care.
  • Field-based work with occasional overnight stays, requiring flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Regional Business Manager, you will:

  • Drive new consumer registrations, exceeding agreed targets.
  • Provide point-of-care discharge support for patients going home.
  • Train clinical staff on safe discharge practices with Nightingale appliances.
  • Develop expertise in:
    • Transitions between secondary and primary NHS care.
    • Operations of a dispensing appliance contractor.
  • Maintain weekly updates (IT requirements, CRM, calendar, monthly activity reports) for the Regional Business Manager.
  • Support NHS Trusts in:
    • Provision, promotion, and implementation of ‘hospital-to-home’ discharge products.
    • Formulary adjustments and product guidance.
  • Train healthcare professionals on discharge packs and appliances.
  • Collaborate with the regional team on key projects across the region.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and sell products/services to NHS/private healthcare.

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High energy, ambition and interest in a medical sales career.
  • Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
  • Confidence, articulate with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, resilient, with a competitive won’t-fail mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage weekly/monthly planning.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Proven ability to influence and articulate ideas effectively.

Desirable (But Not Mandatory)

  • Clinical background (advantageous but not essential).
  • Prior experience with customer relations or frontline sales.
  • Commercial/business acumen.
