Job Title: Hospital Manager

Location: Swindon

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours – 5 out of 7 days.

About The Role

The Hospital Manager will ensure safe delivery of services and smooth running of the hospital. Leading on both the clinical governance and CQC compliance within the Hospital. You will be an effective leader and manage the hospital team in the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of clinical care.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Can

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day management and operational delivery of high quality, patient focused services within your hospital
  • Act as a mentor to your team, ensuring everyone is given the support to succeed and provide the highest quality of patient care
  • Lead improvement programmes and identify areas of improvement
  • Adhere to good record keeping, drug administration in line with guidelines, ensuring you have an audit processes and action plans in place to monitoring the effectiveness
  • Compliance with unit clinical audits and monitor effectively
  • Always ensuring safe patient care

Who We Are Looking For

  • Current or previous healthcare registration with a registered body
  • Experience managing clinical teams and working with clinicians
  • Managing patient feedback, including complaints
  • Budget management
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with team and wider hospital teams
  • Be able to communicate well with patients
  • Flexible approach to work organisation
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • People focused
