Hospital Procurement Support Specialist
Location: Hybrid, Solihull 3 days a week or Madrid 3 days a week

The team
You'll join the Commercial Procurement team within Mars Veterinary Health Europe, working as part of a centralised Hospital Procurement Support function. The team is dedicated to providing high-quality support to veterinary hospitals across Europe, helping them access the products, equipment and services they need efficiently and effectively.
Reporting to the Procurement Operations Senior Manager, you'll collaborate with colleagues across Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations and external suppliers to resolve enquiries, improve processes and deliver exceptional service. The team values collaboration, continuous improvement and a customer-first mindset, creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to share ideas and make a difference.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in customer or client support, ideally within a veterinary, healthcare or procurement environment.
- Ideally a minimum of three years' experience in a veterinary hospital, pharmacy or clinic buying role.
- This role may suit a Veterinary Nurse or Technician looking for an interesting next career step.
- Broad knowledge of surgical instruments, medical equipment and pharmaceutical products, including generic and trade names.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and the ability to work across multiple systems, including ServiceNow or similar case management platforms.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Qualified or Certified Veterinary Nurse/Technician.
- Experience troubleshooting medical equipment or supporting clinical teams.
- Experience with procurement systems, supplier management or service management platforms.
- Fluency in one or more additional European languages.
