Clinisupplies – Hospital Executive (Hospital-to-Home Discharge Support) – Entry-Level Medical Sales Role

The company also offers bandages and garments for treating wounds and chronic skin conditions, supplying its products to the NHS worldwide and providing direct home delivery via Clinidirect, its Dispensing Appliance Contractor.

With 500+ employees across the UK, China, and India, Clinisupplies ensures its products meet CE, ISO, US FDA compliance. Their product development team collaborates with clinicians and patients to refine and innovate devices—focusing on simplicity, discretion, and reliability.


Role Summary

We are seeking a Hospital Executive to join our sales team, specialising in supporting hospital discharge policies for the Nightingale Home Delivery Service. This is an entry-level role, ideal for launching a career in medical sales.

The role involves field-based work, which may include overnight stays and travel.


Key Responsibilities

You will report to the Regional Business Manager, with the following core responsibilities:

  • Driving customer acquisition: Deliver and exceed new consumer formal registrations for the Nightingale home delivery service, working across NHS Trusts.
  • Patient-centered care support: Assist in safe discharge transitions for patients moving from acute care to community settings, managing medical devices at the point of care.
  • Clinical training: Educate staff on best practices for seamless discharges involving medical appliances, ensuring compliance and best patient outcomes.
  • NHS transitions understanding: Develop expertise in the pathways between secondary (hospital) and primary care within the NHS.
  • Dispensing Appliance Contractor (DAC) operations: Gain a working knowledge of how formularies and delivery logistics function under paid contracts.
  • ** Reporting & record-keeping**:
    • Track and report weekly IT requirements (CRM usage), weekly diary activities, and monthly account management (AM) reports.
    • Maintain detailed records for transparent team collaboration at the regional level.
  • Product promotion: Partner with NHS Trusts to promote/push hospital-to-home discharge products, ensuring sustainable integration alongside existing home delivery services.
  • Product guidance & implementation: Assist Trusts with formulary adoption (e.g., approval of devices for wider use) and provide product selection advice.
  • Training: Continuously deliver to healthcare professionals on ‘discharge pack’ usage and strategies to engage patients with appliances/services.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with your regional team to deliver cross-regional projects and share learnings.
  • Customer relationship management: Develop and maintain longevity in partnerships and sales smarts with NHS and private healthcare customers.

Desirable/Plus Qualities

While valuable, experience in the following will add focus and impact to your role:

  • Prior clinical, sales, or patient-facing experience (particularly in discharge/continuity care).
  • Customer relations skills, ideally in medical, semi-regulated, or private sector settings.
  • Commercial acumen—e.g., understanding of operational cost, performance metrics, or project management.
