South East England | Field Based | Full-Time £40,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission + Company Vehicle
Trusted Recruiter Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a growing and highly respected healthcare manufacturer supplying specialist patient handling and mobility solutions into NHS and private hospital environments.
Are you from a Sports Science, Clinical, Therapy, Rehabilitation, Healthcare, or Medical Sales background looking to build a long-term career within healthcare sales? Do you have the personality, energy, and drive to build relationships within hospitals while making a genuine impact on patient care?
Due to continued growth, our client is expanding their hospital sales division and is looking to recruit an ambitious Business Development Manager covering the South East region.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their commercial career or looking to transition from a clinical or sports science background into medical sales.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing relationships across NHS and private hospitals, promoting specialist patient moving, handling, and mobility solutions designed to improve patient outcomes and support healthcare professionals.

You will work closely with key stakeholders including:
- Moving & Handling Teams
- Occupational Therapists & Physiotherapists
- Tissue Viability Teams
- Procurement Departments
- Ward Managers & Clinical Staff
- Infection Prevention Teams
This is a field-based role suited to someone who enjoys relationship building, presenting products, and developing long-term healthcare partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop relationships within NHS and private hospitals
- Deliver product demonstrations, evaluations, and training sessions
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the territory
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Support healthcare professionals through solution-based selling
- Attend exhibitions, workshops, and industry events
- Deliver against agreed territory and sales growth targets

Suitable backgrounds may include:
- Sports Science Graduates
- Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy backgrounds
- Healthcare or Rehabilitation experience
- Graduate Medical Sales
- Clinical Specialists
- Hospital or Healthcare Sales
- Medical Sales
- NHS Sales Experience
Ideal Experience
- Some exposure to hospital or healthcare sales would be advantageous
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and commercially driven
- Comfortable working in a field-based role
- Full UK driving licence
- Passion for healthcare and improving patient outcomes
