Hospital Shift Receptionist
Receptionist – Part-Time Role (30 Hours per Week)

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team at Cygnet Kewstoke, a hospital providing emergency admissions services for men and women, including pathways to rehabilitation and specialist support for personality disorders.
About the Role
- Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week
- Salary: £21,574.80 per year
- Location: Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke, near Weston-super-Mare (beachside property with over 16 acres of landscaped grounds)
The hospital offers a quiet, peaceful and therapeutic environment, featuring:
- Single en-suite bedrooms with access to four garden/terrace areas
- A fully equipped gym and activities suite
- A range of therapies, including CBT, EMDR, and DBT

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, professional reception experience
- Greet visitors and notify the appropriate staff of arrivals
- Manage signing in/out procedures for visitors, and track patient movements
- Handle incoming calls, transfers, and message-taking
- Distribute post and support general office administration
- Maintain reception cleanliness and tidiness
- Ensure safety, security, and compliance with protocols for all site users
You Are…
✔ An experienced receptionist/administrator with client interactions ✔ Organised, approachable, and multi-tasking ✔ Computer literate (Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook or equivalent) ✔ Familiar with telephone systems ✔ Polite, friendly, and highly communicative ✔ Diligent with attention to detail, sensitive to confidentiality ✔ GCSE qualified in English & Maths (with good numeracy/literacy)
