Hospitality Assistant (Zero Hours) – Restaurant Associates

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Hospitality Assistant (Zero Hours) to help ensure the smooth running of operations in Restaurant Associates on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Your core duties will include:

  • Delivering high-quality hospitality service to designated meeting rooms, boardrooms, and client areas
  • Setting up rooms for meetings and events, including food, beverages, tableware, and equipment, aligned with service standards
  • Providing timely delivery and replenishment of food and drinks during meetings and events
  • Ensuring consistently high presentation standards, with meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Clearing and resetting meeting rooms promptly after use for future bookings
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service to guarantee client satisfaction
  • Engaging professionally with clients, responding to requests and resolving issues efficiently
  • Adhering to food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
  • Supporting stock control, replenishment, and reporting of shortages or issues
  • Collaborating with catering, kitchen, and on-site teams for seamless service delivery
  • Adhering to service schedules and demonstrating flexibility in response to evolving client needs

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or customer service (preferably in contract catering)
  • A friendly, professional, and client-focused approach with a strong service mindset
  • Reliability, punctuality, and impeccable presentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in following procedures and maintaining food safety/hygiene standards
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet business and client demands
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and develop in a contract catering setting
