Hospitality Assistant
Department: Front of House / Hospitality Operations
Reports To: Department Managers
Contract: Part Time – 24 Hours per Week
Levy at The Conduit is a purpose-driven private members club and hospitality environment in the heart of Covent Garden, bringing together food, culture, events, and community within a dynamic and premium hospitality setting.
Working in partnership with Levy UK, the hospitality operation delivers thoughtful service across restaurant, bar, and events spaces, creating engaging experiences for members and guests throughout the club.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-paced team environment, suited to individuals with a passion for hospitality, a positive and adaptable approach, and a desire to broaden their skills across multiple areas of a private members club operation.
Purpose
The Hospitality Assistant plays a key role in delivering warm, professional, and engaging service across multiple areas of the club, supporting the restaurant, bar, and events operation.
This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for someone with a good grounding in hospitality who enjoys working across different environments and delivering consistently high standards of guest experience. You will support the wider team across food and beverage service, member interaction, and events, while continuing to broaden your skills within a private members club environment.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service
- Deliver warm, friendly, and attentive service to members and guests
- Support service across restaurant, bar, and event spaces as required
- Build positive relationships with members, creating a welcoming environment
- Maintain strong product knowledge across food, drinks, and club offerings
- Confidently assist guests with recommendations and service requests
- Ensure high standards of presentation and professionalism at all times

Restaurant, Bar & Events Support
- Support table service, bar service, and event operations across the club
- Assist with setting up and resetting spaces for service and events
- Support smooth day-to-day operations during busy service periods
- Help maintain efficient communication between front of house, kitchen, and events teams
- Assist with opening and closing duties where required
- Adapt confidently between different styles of service and operational areas
Operational Standards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across FOH and BOH areas
- Ensure all service stations remain stocked and service-ready
- Follow all health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing procedures
- Support accurate handling of payments and operational procedures
- Report maintenance or operational issues promptly
Team & Culture
- Work collaboratively with the wider hospitality and events teams
- Contribute positively to team culture and guest experience
- Be open to feedback, training, and ongoing development
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn across different areas of the business
- Represent the values and standards of the club at all times
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within hospitality, restaurant, bar, or events environments
- Good all-round understanding of hospitality operations
- Passion for guest experience and quality service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and varied environment
- Interest in developing skills within a private members club setting
