Hospitality Chef de Partie – Mon to Fri (No Weekend Service)

40 hours (Mon to Fri, no weekend shifts)

Salary

Up to £33,000 + paid overtime

About the Role

Are you a culinary connoisseur with an insatiable passion for creating masterful dishes? As Chef de Partie at BaxterStorey, you’ll be part of a dynamic team designing extraordinary event menus across London. Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation:

    • Prepare and cook dishes adhering strictly to recipes and quality standards.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation at all times.
  • Station Management:

    • Oversee production at your station, maintaining cleanliness, supply stock, and hygiene.
    • Uphold kitchen organisation and equipment upkeep.
  • Quality Control:

    • Maintain high standards for dish presentation and taste, troubleshooting as required.
  • Team Collaboration:

    • Foster open communication with colleagues.
    • Provide support and problem-solving within the kitchen team.

  • Menu Development:
    • Work with the head chef to refine recipes, offering creative improvements or new concepts.

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role.
  • Strong foundation in cooking techniques and diverse cuisines.
  • Deep understanding of food safety, hygiene, and regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
