Hospitality & Event Services Manager
Location: Wentworth, Surrey (Head Office) & Tournament Locations
Contract: 12-month maternity cover
Who We Are
The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, Staysure Legends Tour & HotelPlanner Tour. We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Hospitality & Event Services Manager to join our Championship Management team on a 12-month fixed term basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in the ownership, planning and delivery of world-class tournament experiences. This role requires a confident leader who can manage complex projects, work with senior stakeholders and make critical operational decisions to deliver exceptional delivery at every touchpoint.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the planning and delivery of hospitality and event services across our tournaments
- Managing Pro-Am events, guest communications and logistics
- Overseeing accommodation and transport for players, partners and stakeholders
- Designing and delivering premium hospitality experiences and facilities
- Leading catering operations across all user groups
- Managing fringe events such as gala dinners and receptions
- Building strong relationships with venues, partners and key stakeholders
- Driving volunteer programmes and event staffing
- Leading merchandise, ticketing and operational delivery

What we’re looking for
- Demonstratable experience of leading large-scale events, ideally in international sport
- Strong project management and communication skills with high attention to detail
- Experience managing event budgets and negotiating with suppliers and venues
- The ability to influence and challenge stakeholders whilst building strong working relationships
- Confident working with senior partners and global brands
- A collaborative, proactive approach with a “one team” mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods
- Experience of working within the professional golf environment is a plus
