Hospitality & Event Services Manager

Location: Wentworth, Surrey (Head Office) & Tournament Locations

Contract: 12-month maternity cover

Who We Are

The European Tour group is one of the world’s pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, Staysure Legends Tour & HotelPlanner Tour. We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf’s greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Hospitality & Event Services Manager to join our Championship Management team on a 12-month fixed term basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in the ownership, planning and delivery of world-class tournament experiences. This role requires a confident leader who can manage complex projects, work with senior stakeholders and make critical operational decisions to deliver exceptional delivery at every touchpoint.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the planning and delivery of hospitality and event services across our tournaments
  • Managing Pro-Am events, guest communications and logistics
  • Overseeing accommodation and transport for players, partners and stakeholders
  • Designing and delivering premium hospitality experiences and facilities
  • Leading catering operations across all user groups
  • Managing fringe events such as gala dinners and receptions
  • Building strong relationships with venues, partners and key stakeholders
  • Driving volunteer programmes and event staffing
  • Leading merchandise, ticketing and operational delivery

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstratable experience of leading large-scale events, ideally in international sport
  • Strong project management and communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience managing event budgets and negotiating with suppliers and venues
  • The ability to influence and challenge stakeholders whilst building strong working relationships
  • Confident working with senior partners and global brands
  • A collaborative, proactive approach with a “one team” mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods
  • Experience of working within the professional golf environment is a plus
