Are you an ambitious Sous Chef with a passion for premium hospitality, exceptional food and leading high-performing teams?
At Green & Fortune, we're looking for an experienced Hospitality Sous Chef to join our award-winning team at One Southwark Bridge. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role within one of London's most prestigious workplace hospitality venues, delivering outstanding food and service for executive dining, conferences, meetings and large-scale corporate events.
Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll help shape an innovative hospitality offer, inspire a talented kitchen team and consistently deliver memorable dining experiences for some of London's most recognised businesses.
If you're passionate about quality, thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoy developing people as much as creating exceptional food, we'd love to hear from you.
About The Role
As Hospitality Sous Chef, you'll support the day-to-day management of our hospitality kitchen while maintaining the highest culinary and operational standards.
No two days are the same. One day you could be delivering elegant boardroom dining for senior executives, the next producing premium canapé receptions, conferences or bespoke client events.
You'll lead from the front, supporting the Head Chef to ensure every guest receives an exceptional experience while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety and presentation.
What You'll Be Doing
Culinary Excellence
- Deliver exceptional food for meetings, conferences, executive dining and hospitality events.
- Support the development of seasonal menus using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Maintain outstanding food presentation and consistency across every service.
- Drive creativity and innovation while ensuring commercial performance.
Leadership
- Support the Head Chef with the daily operation of the Hospitality Kitchen.
- Lead, motivate and develop a talented kitchen team.
- Coach junior chefs and kitchen porters to reach their full potential.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing kitchen culture.
- Lead services confidently in the Head Chef's absence.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
