Hospitality Manager (Luxury Care Home)

Full-Time | Permanent | £44,489 | Oakmoor Lodge Care Home, Bushey, WD23 2PY


About the Role Quantum Care is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality care to over 2,000 older people across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Essex. Our mission is to provide person-centred care that fosters dignity, independence, and well-being.

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Hospitality Manager to lead our team at Oakmoor Lodge Care Home in Bushey. In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with colleagues to maintain exceptional hospitality standards, ensuring residents receive supportive, luxurious care in a welcoming environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management (Housekeeping, Catering, Activities, Reception & Maintenance):
    • Create and manage rotas
    • Conduct training and development
    • Oversee supervision and performance management
    • Organise event planning and execution
    • Manage documentation processes

    • Ensure dining and activities meet luxury expectations

  • Resident Experience & Liaison:

    • Primary contact for residents and families
    • Accommodate personal preferences and requests
  • Budget & Administration:

    • Control departmental budgets
    • Conduct stock take and inventory management
  • Performance & Audit:

    • Conduct periodic audits for compliance
    • Provide feedback, recommendations, and improvement plans
    • Promote a positive, supportive work environment
  • Standardised Excellence:

    • Ensure five-star dining experiences
    • Collaborate with care and culinary teams to deliver consistency

  • NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Hospitality Management (essential)
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
  • 3+ years’ experience in care, residential, hotel, or luxury hospitality environments
  • Proven ability to manage teams (training, performance, standards)
  • Strong organisational, leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for delivering high-quality service
