Hospitality Manager
Hospitality Manager – New Care Home (Swaffham, Norfolk)
One of the UK’s leading healthcare providers is seeking a committed Hospitality Manager to join their newly constructed care home in Swaffham, Norfolk.
The care home provides residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care in a modern, purpose-built facility. The environment is designed to be comfortable, supportive, and tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
Key Responsibilities
To be considered for this role, you must have experience in Hospitality Management.
As Hospitality Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Developing a service experience that aligns with our family-focused vision and values, rooted in compassion, empathy, and transparency.
- Creating and sustaining a positive working environment that fosters teamwork, continuous improvement, and high-quality service.
- Ensuring all residents receive an exceptional experience, with their needs and expectations fully met—or exceeded.
- Managing the food service operation in collaboration with the executive chef, including:
- Menu planning
- Food preparation and delivery
- Ensuring high-quality, timely meals for residents
- Designing and maintaining a dynamic activities program that:
- Supports individual resident interests and needs
- Encourages engagement, fun, and well-being
- Developing a best-in-class first-impression experience for all guests.
- Overseeing housekeeping operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Exceptional people management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver outstanding service.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, with expertise in engaging and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of first-impression principles to ensure residents and guests experience positive interactions from arrival.
- Breadth of knowledge in food service operations, including:
- Menu development
- Food preparation and efficiency
- Nutrition and dietary requirements
- Extensive experience in supporting older adults, including creating fun, engaging, and wellness-focused activities.
- Strong grasp of housekeeping principles, with expertise in cleaning, hygiene, and infection control.
- Budget management skills to optimise costs without compromising quality or service standards.

Salary & Benefits
- £32,000 per annum for this permanent, full-time role (40 hours/week, 9am–5pm).
