Hospitality Team Lead

Hospitality Team Lead Spire Murrayfield Hospital Edinburgh Hospitality experience desired

Spire Murrayfield Hospital are looking to recruit a Hospitality Team Lead to join their fantastic and dedicated team on a permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To work in close liaison with clinical staff, understanding the special needs of the hospital on a day-to-day basis
  • Lead and support a team of Host and Catering Assistants
  • Ensure day-to-day maintenance of equipment, check for faults and supply shortages, and report them to the line manager
  • Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations, including COSHH
  • Follow guidance on moving and handling, as per corporate and local policy, and Mandatory training sessions
  • Maintain quality assurance and patient confidentiality at all times
  • Use previous waitressing/waiting experience to deliver meals and beverages to patients’ rooms
  • Respond to ad-hoc patient requests to ensure a comfortable stay
  • Assist the catering and housekeeping teams with day-to-day duties

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous hospitality experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness/ability to complete mandatory training for:
    • COSHH
    • Manual Handling
    • Infection Control
    • Health & Safety (in-house)
