Hospitality Team Lead
Hospitality Team Lead Spire Murrayfield Hospital Edinburgh Hospitality experience desired
Spire Murrayfield Hospital are looking to recruit a Hospitality Team Lead to join their fantastic and dedicated team on a permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To work in close liaison with clinical staff, understanding the special needs of the hospital on a day-to-day basis
- Lead and support a team of Host and Catering Assistants
- Ensure day-to-day maintenance of equipment, check for faults and supply shortages, and report them to the line manager
- Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations, including COSHH
- Follow guidance on moving and handling, as per corporate and local policy, and Mandatory training sessions
- Maintain quality assurance and patient confidentiality at all times
- Use previous waitressing/waiting experience to deliver meals and beverages to patients’ rooms
- Respond to ad-hoc patient requests to ensure a comfortable stay
- Assist the catering and housekeeping teams with day-to-day duties

Who We’re Looking For
- A customer service-focused approach
- Leadership experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous hospitality experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness/ability to complete mandatory training for:
- COSHH
- Manual Handling
- Infection Control
- Health & Safety (in-house)
