At Claro, we believe exceptional hospitality begins the moment our guests arrive. We are looking for a warm, confident and personable person to help create memorable first and last impressions while ensuring every guest feels genuinely welcomed.
As a Host, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience by managing reservations, greeting guests with professionalism and working closely with our front-of-house team to ensure a seamless service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Manage reservations using SevenRooms and OpenTable; accurately maintaining the booking system.
- Seat guests efficiently while balancing restaurant flow and service levels.
- Answer telephone calls and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Handle walk-in guests and waiting lists with confidence and excellent communication.
- Coordinate closely with managers, servers and the kitchen to ensure smooth service throughout each shift.
- Maintain an organised and welcoming reception area at all times.
- Assist with special occasions, guest requests, dietary requirements and celebrations.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of Claro's food, drinks, events, and promotions to confidently assist guests.
- Support the Guest Relations with administrative tasks when required.
- Uphold Claro's high standards of presentation, hospitality and attention to detail.

What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- A friendly, approachable and professional personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence using reservation systems (SevenRooms experience is essential).
- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within the team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Previous experience in a host, receptionist, reservations or front-of-house role is preferred.
