Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Your core focus is delivering a memorable and professional Forbes 5-star service experience across all our Food & Beverage (F&B) outlets. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing guests with enthusiastic knowledge sharing about our F&B offerings
- Ensuring all standards, policies, and procedures are followed to foster luxury guest experiences
- Maintaining a professional, smart, and neatly groomed 5-star appearance
- Delivering an extraordinary service experience in line with the highest industry standards, with a distinctive personal touch
- Assisting guests with menu choices in an informative and enthusiastic way
- Taking reservations with all required details in a welcoming and friendly manner
- Acting as a revenue booster through upselling and creative promotional initiatives
- Sharing knowledge of the menu, promotions, preparation, and general hotel operations, including Savoy history and stories
- Adhering to all health & safety standards when handling food and beverage
- Performing administrative tasks, including printing menus and managing stationery requisitions

What You Will Need (Essential)
- 1-2 years’ experience in serving or hosting, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment
- Passion for and deep understanding of 5-star hospitality principles and their implementation
- Empathy and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and gauge guests’ preferred interaction levels
- Quick thinking, being resourceful, and able to solve problems on the spot
- Calm demeanour under pressure, always remaining courteous
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Strong collaborative team player with diplomacy and adaptability
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Fluent spoken and written English

Desirable
- Basic knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Understanding of OpenTable reservations
- Industry-related certifications (e.g., WSET)
- Basic understanding of PMS systems (e.g., Opera system)
Note: Due to the nature of luxury hospitality, flexibility across roles is encouraged. You may be asked to carry out varying tasks to meet guest and operational needs.
