Host & Catering Assistant
Spire Clare Park Hospital | Farnham | Bank | Weekend Shifts
Spire Clare Park Hospital is looking for a friendly and reliable Host & Catering Assistant to join our Catering team on a permanent, full-time basis.
In this important patient-facing role, you'll help create a positive experience for patients, visitors, and colleagues by delivering high-quality meal services and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Primarily supporting weekend services, you'll also have opportunities to pick up additional shifts to cover annual leave and other absences throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve meals and refreshments to patients in a professional and caring manner
- Take meal orders and support dietary requirements where appropriate
- Assist with food preparation and presentation
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and infection prevention
- Support stock management and replenishment
- Work closely with Catering, Facilities, and Clinical teams
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and colleagues
Who We're Looking For
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, healthcare, or customer service is desirable
- Friendly, approachable, and compassionate attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices
