Hot Forge Operator, RECRUITMENT HELPLINE

Hot Forge Operator – Full-time, Permanent Role

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands (WV2)

Schedule: Monday–Friday: 7am–4pm, Friday: 7am–3:45pm

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hot Forge Operator to join a UK award-winning manufacturer of high-quality special fasteners. You’ll set and operate hot forging presses, perform tooling changeovers, and produce a range of bolts, nuts, and custom fasteners.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on hot forging experience—the company is looking for a candidate who can step straight into the position, providing seamless support to a busy production team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and operate hot forging presses and induction heaters
  • Complete die/tooling set-ups and adjustments
  • Perform quality checks on components during production
  • Safely handle hot materials and tooling
  • Strict adherence to health & safety procedures

Ideal Candidate Profile

The perfect candidate will have:

  • Experience with hot forging machines/presses
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technique
  • Ability to work independently with precision
  • Fastidious attention to detail in forging quality components
  • Reliability and communication skills

(Bonus points for fastener industry experience!)
