POSITION SUMMARY

As a Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor, you will support the Housekeeping leadership team in delivering exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and service standards throughout the hotel. You will oversee the day-to-day operation of assigned floors and public areas, ensuring guest rooms are inspected to brand standards, room status accuracy is maintained, and housekeeping associates are supported to deliver an outstanding guest experience. You will work closely with Front Office and Engineering, and other departments to coordinate operations, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-presented environment for guests and associates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas to ensure cleanliness and brand standards are consistently achieved.
  • Supervise, support, and coach housekeeping associates to deliver excellent performance and service.
  • Assign work, monitor progress, and ensure daily housekeeping operations run efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering teams to resolve room discrepancies and maintenance issues.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and service needs.
  • Maintain accurate room status updates, inspection records, reports, and housekeeping documentation.
  • Monitor inventory, supplies, equipment, and lost property procedures within assigned areas.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and company policies and procedures.
  • Lead by example, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and high service standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel operations, or a similar hospitality environment.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and guest service skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good level of spoken and written English.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
