Hotel Duty Manager

Hotel Duty Manager – Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Premier Inn

Location: Holes Bay Rd, Poole BH15 2BD

Contract Type: Permanent (no zero-hours contracts)

Pay: Up to £13.86 per hour (day shift only)

Hours: 37.5 per week


About the Role

Come and join us as a Duty Manager at Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Premier Inn, where you’ll lead a dream team to deliver our signature welcoming, safe, and outstanding hotel experience.

This leadership role is ideal for those with experience in retail or other sectors where you’ve successfully led teams. If you’ve got a passion for customer excellence, the ability to inspire others, and a proven track record managing teams, we want to hear from you.

As Duty Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a high-performing team, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Maintaining all health & safety standards across the hotel.
  • Managing day-to-day operations to guarantee a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Utilising your organisational and communication skills (gained from retail leadership) to manage responsibilities effectively.
  • Inspiring your team while fostering a proactive, inclusive, and ambitious culture.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in team leadership, particularly in retail or similarly customer-focused environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisation abilities.
  • Commitment to delivering Premier Inn’s standard of hotel excellence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hotel setting.
