Hotel Duty Manager

Hotel Duty Manager – Barnsley (Dearne Valley) Premier Inn

About the Role

Come and be a Duty Manager at Barnsley (Dearne Valley) Premier Inn.

Lead our dream team to ensure every aspect of our famous hotel experience is welcoming, safe, and brilliant.

If you’ve got experience in retail or leadership roles where you’ve successfully managed teams before, this role is the perfect next step in your management career.

We’re looking for a dedicated professional who thrives in delivering outstanding customer experience and can inspire and motivate others.

Immediate start available – all hospitality and leadership experience welcome.

Location & Working Details

  • Location: Meadowgate, Dearne Valley Pkwy, Wombwell, Barnsley, S73 0UN
  • Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (until 03/01/2027) – no zero-hours contracts!
  • Working Hours: 16 hours per week
  • Pay Rate: Up to £13.86 per hour (day shift)

What You’ll Do

As Duty Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a reliable, high-performing team to ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations
  • Managing health & safety standards and maintaining exceptional guest experience
  • Utilising your leadership, communication, and organisational skills from retail or customer-facing environments
  • Driving operational efficiency while fostering a positive, inclusive team culture
