Hotel Duty Manager – Paignton South (Brixham Road) Premier Inn
Join us for an exciting role as a Duty Manager at Premier Inn Paignton South, where you’ll lead a difference in creating seamless, welcoming stays. We’re now recruiting for this essential position.
About the Role
As Hotel Duty Manager, you’ll be responsible for guiding our dedicated team to deliver the exceptional service that makes Premier Inn a household name. This involves overseeing all operational aspects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and a superior guest experience.
Ideal candidates will have leadership experience, particularly in retail or customer-facing roles, where they’ve successfully managed teams and inspired results. If you’re organised, passionate about customer satisfaction, and eager to grow in the hospitality industry, we’d love to hear from you.
An immediate start is available, and previous management experience is highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a dynamic team to ensure smooth operations across all aspects of the hotel
- Oversee daily front-of-house, housekeeping, and maintenance activities to maintain high standards and safety
- Prioritise excellent guest experience, handling guest queries with kindness and professionalism
- Manage administrative duties including staff rotas, rostering, and budget allocation
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and food hygiene standards
- Collaborate with the wider team to uphold brand integrity and outstanding service delivery
- Implement and monitor operational excellence, including key performance indicators (KPIs)

Key Requirements
- Proven leadership experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment managing teams
- Strong ability for communication and delegating tasks to a multi-shift team
- Excellent organisational skills, with a focus on problem-solving and detail
- Familiarity with Premier Inn or hospitality accommodations is helpful but not essential
- Adaptability, as this role operates 24/7 with shifts to manage

Offer Details
- Rate: £13.86 per hour (day shift payments)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Location: Long Rd, South, Paignton TQ4 7RZ
- Contract type: Fixed-term until 4th February 2027 (no zero-hour contracts)
