Duty Manager – Premier Inn (Edinburgh City Centre, Waverley)

📍 Located in: 24 Rose St, Edinburgh EH2 2QA


The Role Join our dream team at Premier Inn as a Duty Manager in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre (Waverley). You’ll lead a reliable, high-performing team to deliver our famous hotel experience—welcoming, safe, and outstanding.

Full-time position, 40 hours per week, with Permanent contract (no zero-hours flexibility) at a competitive rate.


Key Responsibilities

As Duty Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead a team with proven retail or prior management experience to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Oversee health & safety standards, operational excellence, and exceptional guest experience.
  • Drive organisational skills, communication, and leadership to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping a welcoming, inclusive environment for staff and guests alike.

Requirements

  • Previous leadership or team management experience (preferably in retail or hospitality).
  • Proven ability to motivate a team to deliver outstanding guest satisfaction.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a strong focus on ** organisational excellence**.
  • Commitment to safety, inclusion, and creating a welcoming culture.
