Duty Manager – Premier Inn Maidstone (Sandling)

Location: Forstal Road, Lock Lane, Sandling, ME14 3AS Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 30 hours per week Pay Rate: Up to £13.86 per hour (day shift)


About the Role

Come and join Premier Inn, Maidstone as a Duty Manager—a key role leading our dream team to ensure every customer’s stay is welcoming, safe, and brilliant.

The ideal candidate will have relevant leadership experience, particularly from retail backgrounds, where managing people and delivering outstanding service has been a success.

This is a permanent role with no zero hours contracts and an immediate start.


Your Responsibilities

  • Lead a reliably high-performing team to ensure our hotel’s smooth and exceptional operation, from health & safety compliance to guest experience management.
  • Apply your existing team-leading skills (from retail or elsewhere) to:
    • Staff training & development
    • Guest interactions to ensure top-tier service
    • Administrative tasks to streamline daily operations
    • Upholding engineering and safety standards

  • Proven leadership ability: You’ve successfully managed teams in the past, preferably within a retail customer-facing environment.
  • Commercial awareness: You can balance cost-effectiveness with outstanding hospitality service.
  • Customer focus: Your prioritisation is delivering a seamless and enjoyable stay for every guest—from check-in to check-out.
