Hotel Duty Manager – Sheffield City Centre (St Mary’s Gate) – Premier Inn
About the Position
Come and join us as a Duty Manager at our Sheffield City Centre location (Premier Inn, St Mary’s Gate). This is an opportunity to take your management skills to the next level while ensuring we deliver our world-class hotel experience with outstanding hospitality, safety, and reliability.
Working at Premier Inn, you’ll have the chance to lead and inspire a dream team, leveraging your experience in retail or similar leadership roles to shape a workplace that prioritises quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and leading a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence
- Ensuring smooth hotel operations – achieving health & safety standards, guest satisfaction, and seamless execution of duties (front desk, housekeeping, catering)
- Monitoring staff performance, allocating shifts, and creating an inclusive, motivated team culture
- Balancing quality hospitality with operational efficiency – from check-ins/outs to room service and problem resolution
- offering creative solutions to challenges, maintaining Premier Inn’s reputation for reliability and comfort

What We Offer
Compensation & Terms
- Pay rate: Up to £13.86 per hour (day shift)
- Contract: Permanent (no zero-hour contracts!)
- Hours: 24 hours per week
