Duty Manager – York City (Blossom St South) Premier Inn

Location: 28-40 Blossom Street, York, YO24 1AJ

Contract Type: Permanent (no zero-hours contracts) Hours: 37 hours per week Pay: Up to £13.86 per hour (day shift) Job ref: 181929-4492

Responsibilities

As Duty Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead a high-performing team to ensure a positive, welcoming, and engaging guest experience.
  • Oversee operations, including health & safety standards and smooth, efficient service.
  • Apply experience in retail or team leadership to communicate effectively, organise workflows, and deliver outstanding customer care.
  • Ensure every aspect of our hotel experience meets our high standards.

Requirements

We’re looking for a dedicated manager with:

  • Proven leadership experience, particularly in a customer-facing, retail, or team environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to inspire and guide a team while maintaining our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and hospitality.
