Hotel - Duty Manager

Duty Manager – Premier Inn (hub by Premier Inn London Clerkenwell)

Location: 80 Farringdon Road, London, EC1R 3AE

Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 35 hours per week Pay Rate: Up to £15.86 per hour (day shift)

Immediate start – with all leadership experience relevant.


About the Role

Join Premier Inn as a Duty Manager at our hub by Premier Inn London Clerkenwell hotel and lead your team to deliver exceptional, welcoming, and safe experiences for guests every time.

You’ll bring your experience in customer-focused environments (especially retail or leadership roles) and use your skills to:

  • Lead a dream team and ensure operational excellence.
  • Manage a reliable team to maintain high standards in service, safety, and organisation.
  • Transform guest experiences by leveraging your communication and problem-solving skills.

This is the perfect stepping stone to further management progress within Premier Inn.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations – ensure smooth running of the hotel, including guest arrival, team coordination, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead with excellence – uphold health & safety, service quality, and team performance with professionalism.
  • Course-correction communication – resolve guest queries and team dynamics effectively.
  • Drive growth – coach and mentor team members to help them realise their potential.
