# Duty Manager – Premier Inn Glasgow Pacific Quay (SEEC)

Our Premier Inn Glasgow Pacific Quay (SECC) is hiring for a Duty Manager—come join our dream team and help ensure every guest receives a welcoming, safe, and outstanding experience.

About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated professional with proven leadership skills, preferably from retail or customer-facing roles, to manage our team effectively and deliver exceptional service. The Duty Manager will play a key role in maintaining high standards of health and safety, guest experience, and organisational efficiency.

Serves as a strong leader who inspires their team to achieve excellence, ensuring the smooth running of operations and fostering a positive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include:

  • Leading, supporting, and motivating the team to deliver a brilliant guest experience
  • Ensuring health & safety standards are consistently met and complied with
  • Managing day-to-day operations, from opening and closing routines to staff scheduling
  • Maintaining Premier Inn’s high standards of cleanliness, service, and hospitality
  • Handling guest feedback and resolving any concerns promptly
  • Supporting training and development initiatives

Requirements

You must have:

  • Points of sale knowledge (preferably from UK-based retail)
  • Leadership experience (preferably in retail, similar or related industries)
  • Strong communication, organisation, and team management skills
  • Ability to use POS systems, comply with food safety standards, and operate in General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines
  • Training/mentorship experience is a strong advantage
  • Permanent right to work within the UK (must show relevant visa documents upon application if required)

Training & Support

  • No prior hospitality experience needed—full training provided
