We're looking for a passionate Hotel Gardener to help maintain and enhance our beautiful grounds. From our historic Italian Gardens to our picturesque wedding lawns and woodland walks, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our estate looks its very best all year round. What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintaining our historic gardens, lawns, flower beds, and landscaped grounds to a high standard.
- Planting, pruning, weeding, watering, and caring for seasonal displays throughout the year.
- Operating and maintaining gardening machinery and equipment safely.
- Preparing our outdoor spaces for weddings, events, and guest enjoyment.
- Keeping pathways, entrances, and outdoor areas clean, tidy, and safe.
- Assisting with landscaping projects and ongoing improvements across the estate.
- Monitoring the health of plants, trees, and shrubs, identifying, and reporting any issues.
- Supporting our sustainability initiatives and helping protect the natural beauty of the estate.
What We're Looking For:
- ✔ Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or grounds maintenance.
- ✔ A genuine passion for gardening and the outdoors.
- ✔ Pride in delivering exceptional standards and attention to detail.
- ✔ Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- ✔ A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
- ✔ Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- ✔ Experience using gardening machinery and tools safely.
