The Tyn-y-Coed hotel is nestled in the heart of North Wales and Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. It offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, comfortable accommodation, and delicious food and drink.
About The Job

We are looking for a self-motivated, forward-thinking leader. You will have previous experience as a Hotel General Manager, ideally within a branded environment, and have a good knowledge of legislative requirements including Health and Safety, Food Safety, Liquor Licensing, and Employment Law. Proven management experience within a luxury, multi-site environment is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate high levels of guest focus, operational excellence, and financial and commercial acumen. You will be responsible for driving sustainable commercial performance, identifying and maximising growth opportunities, and driving yield.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to lead and develop your team and influence across all areas of the business. You will have a hands-on approach and take a proactive role with all departments to identify needs and support at all levels. Empowering and developing your people to be the best and deliver the best, making the most of your resources and growing talent. You will be an inspirational leader, who is passionate about delivering extraordinary guest experiences and who takes pride in sharing success with your team.

What We Need From You…
The ideal candidate will have good organisational and leadership skills with an ability to think on their feet. You'll be a passionate leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and support your team in order to exceed your commercial goals. You'll have high standards when it comes to guest experience, understand brand standards and you'll take ownership and pride in your work.
You’ll oversee all business areas with a keen eye for detail and ensure brand standards are consistently delivered while utilising guest feedback to increase performance against KPI’s. A good sense of humour and a passion for hospitality. The role includes responsibility for budgeting, driving occupancy and yield, additional spend, and function sales to maximise commercial returns.
