Kitchen Manager – Cardiff City Centre (Stadium) – Premier Inn

Salary: £36,500 - £41,250

As Kitchen Manager for Premier Inn, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Thyme Restaurant, ensuring a flawless service experience while fostering a high-performing team.

Your Key Responsibilities

You’ll lead with hands-on leadership while delivering operational excellence:

  • Support the Hotel Manager in recruitment, induction, and onboarding of new kitchen staff.
  • Drive a high-performing team through compelling pre-shift briefings and open communication—empowering your staff to thrive.
  • Stock control & food cost management to ensure profitability.
  • Champion compliance in NSF, EHO, and health & safety audits.
  • Maintain brand standards in food prep, service, and guest experience.
  • Boost individual performance through 1:1 coaching and development.
  • Operate with precision in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Cultivate expertise in the brand while keeping your team knowledgeable, engaged, and confident.
