Kitchen Team Leader – Premier Inn Welwyn Garden City
About the Role:
We're recruiting for an exciting Kitchen Team Leader position at our Welwyn Garden City Premier Inn, offering a fixed-term contract until 01/09/2026 (no zero-hour contracts!). This hands-on leadership role is ideal for ambitious Chefs aiming to progress their careers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the kitchen on a day-to-day basis, including:
- Developing and overseeing rotas
- Overseeing food ordering and managing stock control
- Ensuring food quality and compliance with continuous audits
- Working closely with the Hotel Manager to ensure kitchen success
- Leading the team through busy service periods, ensuring smooth operations
- Taking full ownership of kitchen operations from food quality to hygiene compliance
- Delivering premier meal standards, from legendary Premier Inn breakfasts to pub classics

Job details:
- Pay: Up to £14.31 per hour
- Contract: Fixed-term (No zero-hours contracts!)
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Location: Stanborough Rd, Welwyn Garden City, AL8 6DQ
