Kitchen Team Leader – Premier Inn Bagshot

About the Role

Join our team at Premier Inn Bagshot in a hands-on leadership role perfect for the next step in your chef career. You’ll take ownership of the kitchen, managing day-to-day operations, team performance, food quality, and hygiene across a busy service environment.

Running closely with your Hotel Manager, this role gives you the opportunity to develop the skills needed to progress to Head Chef.


Key Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for leading kitchen operations with full accountability:

  • Ownership of kitchen operations: Manage rotas, food orders, stock control, and ensure food costs remain on track for the entire hotel
  • Service leadership: Take charge during busy periods, organising the team and managing workflow to guarantee efficient service
  • Menu execution: Prepare, cook, and serve meals to meet Premier Inn’s high standards – from breakfast classics to pub favourites
  • Health, safety & hygiene: Maintain strict standards, keep training records up to date, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Staff development: Provide hands-on support, including running shifts and assisting new team members
  • Career progression: Learn kitchen management fundamentals to advance to senior roles with Whitbread
