About the Role
Join our team at Shrewsbury Town Centre Premier Inn as a Kitchen Team Leader and advance your Chef career. This pivotal role involves day-to-day kitchen operations, including managing rotas, placing food orders, leading teams through busy shifts, and ensuring compliance with all audit and hygiene standards. You’ll work closely with the Hotel Manager, taking full ownership of kitchen performance—from food quality to critical compliance.

Position Details
- Location: Smithfield Rd, Shrewsbury SY1 1PG
- Contract: 40 hours per week
- Pay Rate: Up to £14.31 per hour

Key Responsibilities
As Kitchen Team Leader, you will:
- Own food ordering, stock control, and maintaining food cost efficiency for the entire hotel.
- Take the lead during peak service, managing workflows and ensuring seamless operations.
- Prepare, cook, and serve dishes to standard—from Premier Inn breakfast classics to pub favourites.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including training and updating records.
- Provide shift cover and support new team members as needed.
- Upskill in kitchen management to prepare for senior roles in the future.
