A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced, ambitious and passionate Hotel Manager (General Manager) to lead the opening and ongoing success of Motel One London-Southwark.
Opening in late 2026/early 2027, this exciting new hotel will feature 222 beautifully designed guest rooms in one of London's most vibrant and dynamic locations.

Someone who inspires others, embraces challenge and is excited by the opportunity to build an exceptional team, establish a strong presence in the local market and create memorable guest experiences from day one. Previous commercial experience and knowledge of the Southwark/South Bank market would be a distinct advantage.
This is more than opening a hotel. It's an opportunity to shape its culture, develop its people and establish it as the leading lifestyle hotel in the area.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
