Hotel Receptionist – Bartley Lodge Hotel, New Forest Collection
We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our New Forest Collection team at our stunning Bartley Lodge Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests and ensuring the smooth running of the reception area.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out processes
- Handle guest enquiries and concerns with professionalism and timeliness
- Oversee reservations and room assignments
- Take new reservations and provide details on hotel facilities and services
- Maintain a clean and tidy reception area at all times

Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must be a strong swimmer and willing to complete emergency response (pool) training
Benefits
- Salary: £26,436.80 per annum (plus service charge)
- Contract: 40 hours over a 5-day week
- 28 days holiday (pro rata) per year, including your birthday off

Work Pattern
This role involves working on weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional sleepover shifts. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
