Role Description
The Hotel Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based at Easthampstead Park in Wokingham. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Welcoming guests on arrival
- Managing check-in and check-out procedures
- Handling reservations and room allocations using the hotel’s booking systems
- Answering phone and email inquiries
- Providing information about hotel services and local attractions
- Resolving guest requests or issues promptly and professionally
- Coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms and facilities are prepared to standard
- Processing payments accurately
- Maintaining a tidy, organized reception area

The position requires consistent adherence to hotel policies, security procedures, and a high level of guest service.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide welcoming, professional guest service
- Experience with receptionist duties and front desk operations in a hotel or similar environment
- Opera Cloud or similar PMS experience
- Proficiency in handling reservations and using hotel booking or property management systems
- Clear, courteous phone etiquette and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer literacy and numeracy, including POS or payment processing systems
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles is advantageous
- Formal training or certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus
