Hotel Receptionist (F/M/X)

Hotel Receptionist – TRIBE Hotel London

About the Role

We are seeking a Hotel Receptionist to join our TRIBE as we launch our first TRIBE Hotel in London. Our concept is designed for a new type of traveller—unapologetically modern, confidently eclectic, and delivering a high-end experience at a fair price. Expect a bold, fun, and guest-focused work environment where nothing is done by half-measures.

Responsibilities

  • Guest Experience: Deliver a welcoming and efficient arrival/departure process while maintaining a friendly attitude even during challenges.
  • Administrative Excellence:
    • Ensure accurate guest billing, financial transactions, and credit data.
    • Maintain relevant records (e.g., feedback, guides) per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
    • Provide daily department reports with pristine accuracy.
    • Match guest reservations to correct pricing and selling strategies.
  • Security & Operations:
    • Monitor guest activity and property to avoid security risks.
    • Report and track completion of maintenance issues.
    • Keep public/back-of-house areas immaculate, addressing deficiencies immediately.
  • Collaboration: Work seamlessly with all teams and business partners to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Reception Standards: Keep the reception desk clean, tidy, and professional at all times.
  • Communication: Answer calls quickly and engage with guests warmly (ensuring memorable interactions).

  • Experience with industry software: Proficiency in Micros Fidelio Opera is essential.

  • Entrepreneurial courage— comfortable tackling diverse responsibilities with creativity.
