Hotel Receptionist (F/M/X)

Hotel Receptionist

About the Role

We are looking for a Hotel Receptionist to join our TRIBE as we launch our first TRIBE Hotel into the London market in the summer of 2022.

Conceived for a new type of traveller, it’s all about the mix. Unapologetic modern-designed hotels that confidently blend mainstream style with bespoke, eye-catching, and iconic pieces. The result is a bold and fun place for a high-end experience at a fair price. Finally, a place that gives you everything you need and nothing you don’t.

Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, even when resolving challenges.
  • Manage the arrival and departure processes for all guests, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Handle in-house guest requests, recording feedback as per SOP.
  • Ensure the accuracy of:
    • Guest credit
    • Billing
    • Financial transactions
  • Maintain accuracy in all systems and provide necessary daily reports to departments as per SOP.
  • Complete reception tasks correctly and accurately while following SOP.
  • Ensure correct rates are quoted to guests as per selling strategy and website policies.
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Monitor guests and guest property to minimise security alerts.
  • Report maintenance issues to the relevant department and verify completion.
  • Maintain the integrity of public areas and back-of-house, addressing deficiencies immediately.
  • Collaborate with all hotel teams and outsourced partners to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Keep the reception desk clean, tidy, and presentable.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
