Hotel Receptionist
We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our front desk team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, delivering memorable experiences to our guests.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage reservations efficiently using the hotel management system
- Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services
- Process payments accurately and maintain detailed records of transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure positive resolutions
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area at all times
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest interaction throughout all communications

Experience
- Previous experience in hotel reception or customer service roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong knowledge of guest services principles within the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette
- Familiarity with hotel management software systems is desirable but not mandatory
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with the ability to remain calm under pressure
