We are looking for an enthusiastic Reservationist to join our expanding team. This role will be shift work between the hours of 8am to 8pm to help cover a 7 day operation, with a commitment of a minimum 2 weekends every month.
As part of our Reservations Team, you will contribute to the growth of the rooms and accommodation business, maximising occupancy and revenue, through proactive selling and effectively converting enquiries into sales.
Duties Will Include
- Handling guest enquiries by phone and email, providing accurate information and friendly assistance.
- Understanding the business and keeping up to date with hotel’s sales selling strategy, policy and promotions.
- Processing reservations efficiently, including new bookings, amendments, and cancellations.
- Managing room availability and ensuring all details are entered correctly into the reservation system.
- Liaising with reception, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals and special requests.
- Supporting guests before their stay with confirmations, payment details, and any pre-arrival needs.
- Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through up-selling.
