Job Description
Hotel Security Officer
Our client is looking for a Reception / Site Security Officer to join their Security Team across London, Paddington. Their security team constantly aim to maintain the highest standards of safety and security for all their visitors and employees.

Salary
Competitive pay in line with national minimum wage, plus night shift allowance where applicable.

Permanent
Shift Pattern
4 on, 4 off, across 7 days a week
Shift Times
7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am - fixed
Reception / Site Security Duties
- Patrol areas of the site including the yard, on a regular basis throughout the shift.
- Monitor the site closed circuit television system and report immediately on any breach of security.
- Ensure that all commercial vehicle keys are signed for during stationary phases of loading and unloading. Check drivers for paperwork before they leave the site.
- Investigating disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the depot.
- Confidently calling for help in emergency situations.
- Preventing any potential breaches of security and theft.
- Assist and ensure visitors aware of company and personal obligations, their fire escape routes and fire assembly points.
- Managing traffic flow.
- Support a positive and effective working culture.
- To participate in any security operation including searches, patrols and exercises.
- To carry out ad hoc and routine tasks that may involve administration work as directed by management.
- To fully comply with all site systems and processes.
- To be a key member in emergency evacuation, need to assist the incident controller during emergency.

Reception / Site Security Requirements

- SIA License
- 1-year checkable work/career history
- Any Health and Safety, First Aid or Fire Marshall training or qualifications preferable
- Experience in following administrative procedures and maintaining clear and accurate records.
- Possess the ability to work under pressure.
- Being reliable, awake and alert at all times during your shift, and the ability to use your initiative and stay calm in the event of an emergency.
- Administration tasks.
- Experience in a similar role, would be an advantage.
