Hotel Services Lead - Circle Health Group

Hotel Services Lead

Location: Beaumont Hospital, Bolton

Contract: 37.5 Hours per Week | Permanent

Salary: Up to £28,300.00 per year (depending on experience, training, and qualification)


About the Role

Beaumont Hospital, part of Circle Health Group—Britain’s leading private healthcare provider—seeks an experienced Hotel Services Lead to join their Hotel Services team. This full-time role in operational leadership provides an opportunity to enhance patient and visitor experiences while ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service delivery across the hospital.

A flexible shift pattern applies, with opportunities for training and professional growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the Portering and Housekeeping teams, ensuring timely and professional delivery of services across all hospital areas.
  • Oversee core portering duties, including:
    • Patient and goods movement
    • Site security
    • Gas management (where applicable)
  • Ensure all housekeeping services meet policy and infection prevention standards, including:
    • Room and theatre cleaning
    • Laundry handling
    • Room setup and maintenance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for:
    • Patients
    • Visitors
    • Consultants
    • Manage feedback to ensure high satisfaction levels in hospitality services.
  • Enforce staff compliance with mandatory training and adherence to:
    • Hospital policies
    • Health & safety regulations
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting quality assurance and excellence within the team.

** Person Specification & Qualifications**

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Previous experience managing operational teams within hospitality or healthcare environments (essential).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration and customer interactions.
  • A basic understanding of:
    • MS Excel
    • Administrative processes
  • A hospitality or facilities services qualification (desirable).
  • Knowledge of cleanliness and infection control standards in clinical or hotel settings (preferred).
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
