As a Manor Receptionist, you will:

  • Welcome guests with a professional and friendly manner, ensuring they receive an exceptional first impression.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently while providing helpful information about the hotel and local area.
  • Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Handle guest requests and resolve any concerns or complaints to ensure a positive experience.
  • Carry out administrative and reception duties accurately, including processing bookings and payments.
  • Ensure the reception and front-of-house areas are clean, organised, safe, and welcoming at all times.
  • Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A positive, friendly attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
  • A reliable team player who is happy to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Sufficient spoken and written English to carry out the role safely and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Manor Receptionist

Hours: 4 days per week, with rotating weekends off. Shifts are either 7:00am – 3:00pm or 3:00pm – 9:00pm.
